COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT Dec 09

Troop 924 visited Bay Tree Rehab/Nursing Home in December of 2009. This was our second year doing this project. The residents always enjoy seeing some young smiling faces,and the girls enjoyed helping the community.

Ground Hog Day- Written by Troop 924, January 28, 2009

There once was a groundhog named Fred. He liked to eat bread. He goes in the ground. Every year he comes out. If he sees his shadow he goes back into the hole. Fred has a tunnel to Malibu, where he has a two story house with a flat screen TV. His favorite show is iCarly. He has flowers in his hole. He loves to sniff, bounce, and jump off the walls. His birthday is February 14th. He likes to eat flowers. He climbs out his window to see what the weather is like. The next time he goes out his window and sees the surprise.. he sees his shadow. But when he sees his shadow, he noticed the crowd staring, he says "Hey you , stop looking at me!" He jumped back in the hole, and stayed until next year.
